The Board provides independent governance, spiritual oversight, and strategic accountability — ensuring Brave Ministry faithfully stewards all that God has entrusted to us.
Caroline is Chairman of BRAVE Ministry, bringing extensive leadership, strategic planning, training, and community outreach experience across Singapore, Cambodia, Australia, and Ireland. A dedicated pastoral care professional, she has spent many years supporting the emotional, spiritual, and wellbeing needs of individuals and communities. She also founded and led a not-for-profit organization focused on welfare, engagement, and counselling services.
Her previous roles include Pastoral Care Director at Nations Church, Western Australia, and Executive Director of Bethesda Care and Counselling Services. Now a Chaplain in a major Perth tertiary hospital, Caroline provides spiritual care, counselling, and support in culturally diverse settings, fostering compassionate, healing communities. She believes that lasting community transformation begins by impacting one life at a time.
Rev. Dr. Samuel Dhanaraj is an international minister, missionary, and educator with a background in Precision Tool and Die Engineering.
A former Dean and current faculty member at Rhema Bible Training Centre Singapore, he holds a Doctorate in Divinity from the International Institute of Church Management (New York) and is ordained through RMAI (USA).
With decades of ministry experience spanning pastoral leadership and student outreach in India, Dr. Samuel travels worldwide with his wife, Mary, training and equipping Christian leaders across four continents. They reside in Singapore with their family.
Melinda's journey to founding Brave Ministry was anything but conventional. Behind this ministry is a personal story of redemption and restoration — not born out of ambition, but out of surrender.
It began in her darkest season, broken, purposeless, and on the verge of ending her life, when God met her on a humanitarian trip to Cambodia in 2011.
"Daughter, if you don't want your life, give it to Me."
In 2017, she founded Brave Ministry out of a God-given vision to fulfil the Great Commandment and the Great Commission — reaching the last, the lost, and the least with the transformative love of Jesus Christ.
Ps Samuel Lee serves as Executive Director of Brave Ministry, providing visionary and spiritual leadership alongside his wife Melinda.
A social worker by background, he began his career at Fei Yue Community Services before responding to God's call to full-time ministry — serving as a Methodist pastor, then leading discipleship strategy and youth ministries at Lighthouse Evangelism, Singapore.
He holds a Master of Divinity from Trinity Theological College, a degree in Psychology and Social Work from NUS, and a postgraduate diploma in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
Country Directors
Our Country Directors lead on-the-ground ministry in each nation — building local relationships, overseeing teams, and ensuring the work remains rooted in the communities we serve.
Cambodia — Leadership Transition: Brave Cambodia is currently under the direct oversight of Melinda Lim and Ps Samuel Lee as Interim Country Directors. We are trusting God for the right person to step into this role in His timing.
Pastor Gideon Kap Cin Thang serves as the Myanmar Country Director for Brave Ministry and is the Assistant Pastor of Innlay Baptist Church in the Inle Lake region of Myanmar.
Before returning to Myanmar, he lived in Singapore for nine years, where he worked as an engineer, studied theology, and served faithfully in local church ministry. He is passionate about holistic mission, combining Gospel proclamation with Christian education, leadership development, and compassionate community transformation.
Gideon currently leads Grace Preschool, Grace Home, Joy Preschool, discipleship training, and humanitarian relief initiatives in Myanmar. He serves alongside his wife, Sophia, and together they are raising their two daughters, Gracye and Faith, while dedicating their lives to seeing lives transformed by the love of Christ and raising the next generation of Christ-centred leaders.
Ps Samuel Lee and Melinda Lim currently serve as Interim Country Directors for BRAVE Cambodia, providing leadership and oversight to our local team and ministries.
Together, they support and equip our Cambodian staff as they serve communities through discipleship, education and compassionate outreach. BRAVE Cambodia's key initiatives include the Chhuk Learning Centre, the Chouk Va Mouy slum community, other community outreach and home visits. Through our education sponsorship programme, they mentor the young people to reach their God-given potential and follow God's calling upon their lives.
Ps Samuel and Melinda also facilitate mission exposure trips to Cambodia, connecting visiting teams with the work and local labourers in the mission field.
At the heart of their leadership is a simple conviction: to equip and strengthen Cambodians to reach, disciple and transform their own communities.
