Sam Pom’s husband was paralysed from the waist down after being shot in the 1993 war, as a soldier.
He had to depend on Sam Pom to provide for the family.
Their daughter works in a garment factory and their son in law is a cleaner.
Som Pom also has to take care of her grandchild.
The entire family struggles to make ends meet due to the rising cost of living in Cambodia.
We gave them a hand up to start a stall in the market near to their home to sell fruits and vegetables.
This would empower them to make a sustainable living and provide for the family.
