When Bonchhel was a child, he was unwell and was brought to the doctor for a check-up.
He was prescribed adult eye drops which were too strong for him.
Unfortunately, it caused him to lose his sight completely in 1 eye and partially in the other.
That incident left him scarred with low self-esteem and caused him to be often ostracized by others.
We believe that God has a great plan and future for Bonchhel and that’s why we want to be investing in youths like him who loves The Lord and has the heart to serve God.

My name is Bonchhel and I come from Prey Veng province.
I am a first-year student currently studying English at Panha Chiet University.
I am staying at the Tree of Life dorm. My parents are farmers and I come from a poor family.
I have 4 siblings–3 brothers and 1 sister.
After graduating from high school in 2012, I went to bible school (Rawling) and I graduated in 2015. After graduating from bible college, I volunteered in churches at Sihanoukville, Kompong Speu province and Phnom Penh. I would like to be an English teacher in future and it is also my heart’s desire to serve God and be a pastor.

I would like to take this time to thank Brave Ministry very much for always helping me. The ministry has helped me with a laptop and smartphone which were used for school, as well as study materials and food.
Sister Mel always encourages me all the time when I have problems and she always prays for me and helps me. God always answers my prayers.
Thank you Lord and thank you dear sister so much…
May God bless you dear sister…
